Rotary Foundation
Supports "Butters"

This past year the Rotary Foundation of Green Bay provided money to support dozens of worthwhile projects to the tune of nearly $20,000.

One was the local Einstein Project. Specifically, the foundation supported "Butters", one of 32 butterflies on display until this fall around the community. The auction for the butterflies will be Oct. 9, 7 p.m. at the KI Convention Center.

"Butters", by artist Joelle Bhullar of Kaukauna, will be displayed at The Art Garage, 1409 Main Street and at community events throughout the summer. "Butters" will be moved to various display sites. A plaque listing Rotary as a sponsor is attached to the piece.

Usually, foundation support goes to programming or other rather "intangible" projects. However, the Einstein Project offered a twist. The money will support the education services the Einstein Project provides. Foundation board president Kramer Rock indicated the support of the youth and education programming also allows the community to see the foundation at work helping youth and the community.

This is but one of the many financial outreaches of your foundation. A complete report of past organizations supported is available in the foundation section of this Web site.
