Exchange students from Germany visited our club in October 2001. The students are studying paralegal, graphic design and computers for three weeks at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. It's part of a sister city program set up by former governor Tommy Thompson with the state of Hessin in the Frankfurt area.

Surrounded by family and friends, Sophie Vaessen was recognized and thanked by the club for her many years of service helping serve our lunches at the Days Inn, even back to when it was the Beaumont Hotel. In 1991 the club had honored Sophie with a Paul Harris Fellow. |
Greg St. Arnold received the club's 2001 Adult Youth Leadership Award for his leadership of the multi-cultural club at Bay Port High School. Greg said the money for receiving the award will go to educate elementary school children in the area about tolerance and diversity. |
Dave White and Toni Loch are among dozens of club members helping the Salvation Army's Coats for Kids campaign. The coats -- and cash -- were donated by club members to try to make sure that no Green Bay area child goes through the winter without a warm winter coat. |
