Optimist AeroSpace Administration (OASA)
Space Shuttle

Sponsored by the Bellevue East Town Optimists

Be a part of Green Bay's first ever Space Shuttle for Kidmonauts! OASA's Shuttle will be patterned after NASA's, including:

  • a rocket-like exterior
  • communication satellite
  • computer system
  • Kidmonauts
  • space suits
  • and ... lunar material?

OASA's Space Shuttle project is being administrated by volunteers of area optimist clubs, in conjunction with Space Central, Christa McAuliffe School. The construction of the shuttle is currently underway at Babylon 5, Mac's Hydraulics.

Our Goal
The purpose of OASA's Space Shuttle Project is to provide children (Kidmonauts) with a hands-on experience similar to America's Space Shuttle Program. Another reason for this astronomical endeavor is to teach children that the sky's the limit, and to reach for their dreams. Together, O-A-S-A and Y-O-U can make it happen.

Join Us!
The unveiling of OASA's Space Shuttle took place at Cape Josten Park, Town Hall Road, on Sunday, August 24, 1997. But we still need your help as a volunteer! Be a part of a unique learning experience for Green Bay's Kidmonauts!
